I’d use the one on the left (who is looking to the right). Is that the real you? (To paraphrase Picasso, if so, you are quite small and square.)

I have a feeling that’s because the photo will probably be left aligned. For some reason it seems like you should be looking away from the nearest margin. Of course I’d have to really see it ……..
Ah well, I stronly prefer the on on the right, though I couldn’t tell you why. The fellow on the left looks a bit shifty…
ANd neither of those is the real you. They look much neater, and not enough stubble. Maybe if you stick them onto your CV as “scratch and sniff” objects, imbued with a little of your unique personal… ‘atmosphere’?
