Edinburgh Fringe Festival

I’m going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival over the bank holiday weekend at the end of this month. Does anybody have any recommendations for shows I should try and see?

Saw patton oswalt and he impressed, especially how he dealt with prissy audience members upset by language…
russell brand also good.

I’d go to Bill Hicks:Slight Return if I could but I’m a huge fan of the master.

Saw Mark Thomas and Stewart Lee’s material-honing warmups for Edinburgh, and thought both were good: Thomas better than I remember, slightly less polemic and defter than I remember, Lee thoughtful and slightly oddball as always (though his climactic blasphemy routine split the audience).
In fact, if you read this sunday times interview, you will be reminded of how much you love both Lee and Herring and be compelled to go to both shows.

At least I would.

Dammit! I have spent an hour trawling old comedy web sites. Alas, what comes of time!
